integrated skills

so far in training sessions we have discussed about the teaching of reading, listening,speaking, and writing not in conjunction with each other purposefully. the three-phase technique of reading,for example, has tried to involve more activities of other skills but the focus is actually the development of reading skills itself. otherskills involved are merely meant t reinforce or to extend what have been learned or practiced through further language activities. this skill integration is viewed synonomous with"Reinforcement(byrne,1981).
